Here is the third leaked track from Kanye's "808's & Heartbreak". This one is by far the most personal from Kanye. It follows the other tracks' styles; slow paced, auto-tune and tribal drums. A good listen!
I've played Guitar Hero once with my little cousin and that's all it took for me to like it. Now the team behind the game has brought together some powerhouses from the sports' world for their commercial. In the vid, Alex Rodriguez, aka A-Rod, Tony Hawk, Michael Phelps and Kobe Bryant pay tribute to the famous scene in Risky Business featuring Tom Cruise. Kobe rocks the mic, A-Rod and Phelps rip it up on guitar, and Tony Hawk slides in on a skateboard to play the drums. The vid was directed by Brett Ratner, who most recently directed the music videos for Miley Cyrus’s “7 Things” and Mariah Carey’s “Touch My Body”. Guitar Hero: World Tour is in stores starting this Sunday, October 26. The game features a newly redesigned guitar controller, drum kit (with cymbals!) and a mic. FIIIYYAAAAAAAAA!
Tina Fey was back last night as Sarah Palin and Will Ferrell made a guest appearance as President Bush. These SNL people are spot on with their impersonations. I was crackin up like mad last night.
Atozzio is an up and coming R&B singer I've been hearing a lot of. Here is his track Critical Condition produced by Polow da Don. Polow's productions are always dratic and have a dance feel to it. Def. check this one out.
Okay so now that everyone has caught on to this word "SWAGGA" they feel the need to make a song about it. To me Soulja Boy defines this generation's need to have new all the time that anyone can become an entertainer. With that said I'm gonna go on the hippocritical front and admit that although the lyrics are crap I can't deny the melody. Here is Soulja Boy's video for "Turn My Swag On".
First it was Nicole Scherzinger, then Rihanna and now Keri Hilson. Here is Kardinal Offishal's video for Numba 1(Tide Is High) feat. Keri Hilson.

Lily Allen, premiered her brand new forthcoming single, entitled "Everyone's At It," on her official Myspace page yesterday. The trendsetter shot to instant-fame when her debut single, Smile, reached No. 1 on the UK Singles chart back in July of 2006. Proving she was here to stay, Allen served up another hit single, LDN. Under constant scrutiny from the media, Lily proves on her new single [Everyone's At It] she's not about to let tabloid attacks interfere with her art. This is to say it's a solid effort but not a homerunner.
Ever since the iPhone's release, every phone company is trying to topple Apple's baby by releasing phones with touchscreen capabilities to earn the title of "iPod Killer". Well if anybody has a shot at earning that title it's going to be Blackberry with it's new touch screen device the Blackberry Storm. Taking advantage of all the functions that has made the smartphone maker so popular, RIM also looks to re-invent the touchscreen with their new “click-able” screen offering a tactual feel notably absent from any other phone maker. It's expected release date is sometime in November exclusive to the Verizon network.
"After Love" off of Diddy's "Press Play" is where I first heard the sweet voice that is Keri Hilson. But she's been writing songs for artists for a long time; Runaway Love - Mary J., Gimme More - Britney Spears amongst others. Ever since then I've been a fan. Fast forward and the Timbaland protége is getting ready for the release of her first album "In a Perfect World..." on Dec. 9. Her first single "Energy" failed to get any attention but she's back with the video premiere of her second single "Return the Favor" produced and featuring Timbaland. Now Timbaland's recycled beats are getting tired, his year was 2006 and now he needs to go on a hiatus to regenerate that FIYA of his. On the contrary Hilson still manages to add some spark to the video. Check the video out below.
I first heard of Lady GaGa this past summer and was instantly hooked on to her lead single "Just Dance". With the American release of "The Fame" approaching on the 28th of October she is finally starting to garner that mainstream attention. I've had the Canadian release of "The Fame" on my iPod from August and majority of the album is full of tracks that can be put on repeat. She is adding two new tracks for the American release, "Starstruck" featuring Space Cowboy & Flo Rida and "Paper Gangsta". I prefer the latter but they're both good. If you're an album buyer go out and support her, remember October 28. Below you can listen to the songs and also is the video premiere for "Poker Face".
MTV interviewed Lil Wayne the other day where he revealed he is rereleasing "Tha Carter III" ALREADY! The difference with this rerelease from other artists' own is it will contain ALL NEW songs. Well he releases enough tracks to come out with 5 editions of one album don't ya think. The album will drop around Christmas time, check the video out below.
I don't stay on top of the fashion scene but I like art and when I see good art I give it my attention. Fashion house Chanel is doing this mobile tour of this structure below, designed by architect Zaha Hadid and featuring works by 20 artists worldwide. I think it's great that they pick up this architectural beauty to carry throughout many cities around the world and admission is free. Click the READ MORE link below for more images.
