It's been one long journey for season seven winner of American Idol, David Cook. Six months and one summer tour later Cook is ready to release his first major-label debut album. The lead single from his debut album "Light On" has so far peaked at #17 on Billboard Hot 100 because of digital downloads (oh the digital era) and now is getting played on the radio more. For this album Cook's label teamed with record producer Rob Cavaollo who has worked with artists such as Green Day, My Chemical Romance and more. The outcome is a solid effort, nothing extraordinary but most of the tracks great.
