While other parts of the world are feeling this economic crisis Dubai seems to be problem free. The other night was the grand opening of The Palm Resort, The Palm Jumeirah and the over the top Atlantis resort located on the Palm Jumeirah island. International pop star Kylie Minogue entertained the 2,000 guests. The night's festivities was worth an estimated $35 MIL, WOW! For my Bahamian viewers you cannot tell me at first glance you did not confuse Dubai's Atlantis for ours. Isn't that ironic, while our dear Atlantis seems to be crumbling at its foundation a very similar one in another part of the world just seems to be starting its life of prosperity.
