WOW, last night was somethin' serious! TRL came to a close last night. Although miles away from NYC in The Bahamas, from TRL began back in '98 that was the show I came home to watch at 3:30 everyday after school. Carson Daly, the original host, was back last night with the whole gang of hosts after him to help bring TRL to its end. For the first time in years the streets of Times Square were crowded with fans like they used to be holding up posters and screaming. Among the guests were Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Christina Aguilera, Travis Barker(he gave his first interview via satellite since the plane crash), Taylor Swift amongst many others who made in-studio appearances and sent video messages via satellite. The show was sooo hype, call me a loser but I was right there bumpin' along with the artists during the performances as if I were there. Beyonce killed her performance as usual, The medley of Snoop, Luda and Nelly was crazzzzy and Fall Out Boy were rockin' the night away. Oh yes, Diddy even started to cry which I thought was cool but at first couldn't tell if he was faking or real. Overall the show went out with a HUGE bang and that show willll be missed. That show was the core of the newer generation of MTV. Now my single question is, What is going to replace TRL? That was the last video countdown show of the network and it has to be replaced because all that reality tv is crap.
