56th Inauguration, 44th president... A New Era

Yesterday was a day when American citizens, International citizens, Independent, Democrat and Republican people alike came together to celebrate a monumental moment history. This moment was the Inauguaration of the 44th President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama.

I took the whole day to watch every bit of coverage, from 7a.m. until the last televised ball ended around 12p.m. It was something, to see so many people support one man. From the church to The White House to the luncheon to the motorcade to the Neighbprhood Ball and everything else between, it was all extraordinarily enlightening.

The actual Inauguration did not carry the boring aspect that others have in the past. Watching all the dignitaries take their seats and putting there differences aside showed the country is ready to move on for change. I have to put it out there, I like George Bush as a person you can see he has some cool elements about him. It was a lot of his choices as President that made him look like an ignoramus. Then watching the Obama daughters, Malia "Little Michelle" Obama and Sasha "Little Barack" Obama enter with Michelle's mother. Aretha Franklin's performance of "My Country Tis of Thee" was on point can't complaint there but she needs to take it easy on those meals. Also, To see Joe Biden take the oath followed by Barack just sealed the deal and sent the audience of about 2 million people into a craze and anyone else who was watching.

A new era has truly come. An era with a more liberal family who displays true family values not ones formulated to feed to the public. We look forward to seeing what the next four years bring to America.
